Our story

We just wanted a hoodie we could leave the house in.

We're a small team who spent years living in hoodies, and years being slightly annoyed by them. They rode up every time we sat down. They stopped at the hips, so they never felt like a real outfit. And the prettier alternatives, the sweater dresses and knit sets, were itchy, fussy or only good for one occasion.

So we asked a simple question: what if your favorite hoodie was cut like a dress? Long enough to cover you. Soft enough to sleep in. Polished enough for coffee with friends, the school run or a long flight.

That's Junemae. One piece, made really well, in ten colors and sizes S to 3XL. And the name? It sounds like the first warm evening of June, when you still want something soft around your shoulders. That's the feeling we wanted to make.

Where it started

Designed around one question

Every detail started on paper: how long it should fall, where the slits should sit so it moves without riding up, how deep the pocket needs to be for a phone and cold hands. We checked the length on real bodies, from petite to plus, until it covered everyone properly.

Then we chose a fleece that feels like a blanket inside and looks smooth and matte outside, so it reads as an outfit, not pajamas.
